Jyotiṣa, the science of light, is the traditional astrology of India and one of the six limbs of the Veda. Its classical teachings come down from the sages Parāśara and Jaimini. It reads the sky as it stood at the moment and place of your birth: your birth chart, the janma kuṇḍalī.
Your nature and strengths, the life periods (daśā) you move through, and when the time supports a step. It shows tendencies and their causes, not a fixed fate.

I'm a Jyotiṣa Paṇḍita: paṇḍita means a learned one, a title earned through years of study. For more than 13 years I have studied under my Guruji, Pt. Sanjay Rath, and the teachers of the Sri Jagannath Center, in India.
I am still learning, and I keep researching the classical texts alongside my consultations.

I always rectify the birth time before I read a chart, because its finer details change within minutes. A rough window is enough to start, such as "early morning" or "between two and four". I then fix the exact time from events in your life.
